My name is Shayna and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am a firm believer that we all deserve the opportunity to engage in self-care to increase our mental wellness. It's hard sometimes to make ourselves a priority especially when it comes to tending to our emotional needs and mental health. However, taking time for yourself and prioritizing your needs is what the therapeutic process is all about. I am here to empower, support, and guide you through this journey.
I began my social work career in 2017 while working as a case manager for a community mental health agency and have worked with a variety of populations including individuals with brain injuries, individuals with criminal justice involvement, individuals with chronic mental health needs, and supporting clients in outpatient and private practice therapy settings. I have been a private practice therapist since 2022 and provide a safe and trauma-informed space for clients to explore intrinsic strengths that enhance physical and emotional resiliency.
Outside of the therapy office, you can find me inventing new and delicious homemade desserts for my loved ones, creating some DIY art projects in my craft room, drinking a cup of hot tea at one of the local cafes, or antiquing for vintage frog figurines.
